Metricup LAMP Ute Muster: Postponed
With both disappointment and a deep sense of care for our community, we’ve decided to postpone this Saturday’s scheduled LAMP Ute Muster event at Beerfarm’s Metricup venue.
The Ute Muster is an annual event to raise money for LAMP in developing programs to prevent mens suicide. With increased social isolation and social distancing measures put in place to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus, there’s never been a more important time to look after our mental health, show kindness and look out for each other.
We understand times are tough for many of us at the moment. So, if you’re in a position to give, we’d ask that you donate the price of your ticket (or whatever you are able to give) to help LAMP continue their amazing work in the South West.
While we are fortunate to be geographically isolated from any known cases of the virus at this stage, we have taken proactive measures to ensure the safety of our broader community. Our venue opening hours will continue as normal, with some key changes to the way we operate to reduce the risk of spreading the virus through our community.
- Increased availability of hand sanitizer dispensers around the venue
- Cutlery will no longer be placed on tables, it will be kept behind the food service area and provided upon food collection
- The physical tasting paddles will not be available, but tasters will be
- Removal of self-service cutlery, napkins and condiments from tables and counters
- Water bottles will be put through a cleaning cycle between each use
- The pool table and games machines Will be out of action for the foreseeable future
- The water slide will be sanitised every hour, chlorine dosing is monitored daily and will further prevent risk whilst sliding
- A no-handshakes, no-hugs and no-high fives policy between customers and staff
- Due to the open-plan nature of our venue, touchpoints are minimised anyway
In addition to the measures above, our already vigilant cleaning program has been increased to include:
- A Standard Operating Procedure for increased sanitisation has been circulated to all staff.
- Refreshed staff training on handwashing procedure
- All FOH staff to sanitise hands between each cash transaction
- EFTPOS Machines sanitised regularly
- Tables – Sanitise every customer rotation with sanitiser spray
We are continuing to monitor the Government’s advice closely. Please check our website daily for any changes to our venue operation. Updates will be posted on our website and social media (Facebook/Instagram) at 8am WST daily.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our response to the virus, please me directly via email on email@example.com.
